Stolen!

So we now have to have keycard access just to get into the newsroom because some people are stealing stuff out of there. Over 8000 dollars worth of stuff has been stolen.

The thing that is really stupid, is that it had to be someone on the department because there are only a few people who actually would know where to go to find the stuff.

I hope these people get caught and caught fast. It's a felony and a minimum 6 years in prison. If anyone knows anything come forward and do the right thing!

Ride Along

Police ride along last week was pretty cool. Took some num-chucks from a kid on school property, and he will be summoned to court sometime soon. He was with his 14 year old cousin who the male claims he was teaching how to drive. My officer, Mario took the num-chucks away because they are considered a dangerous weapon on school property.

Mario also took me to the jail and showed me around. That was pretty cool too. Makes me definitely not want to head to jail anytime soon. Pulled some more poeple over, didn't give anymore tickets though. All in all the night was very interesting experience. I learned a lot and hope to do it again sometime actually.
